Cheers to the wine & label

This project brings together two wonderful treats for me - wine and photography!  I had the special opportunity to meet Charlene and Randy Lange of Lange Twins Winery & Vineyards two years ago at another client's wine tasting event in Houston. Meeting them led to a visit to their amazing winery and vineyards in Lodi, CA.  As a fifth generation farm family in Lodi, California, they are dedicated to improving their techniques in the vineyard and winery to make the best sustainable wines possible. And they are truly dedicated to their mission statement.  The family is amazing and so are the wines.

During one of my trips, I photographed the Paintersville Bridge in Clarksburg and that image is now on their 2010 Pinot Noir label. So if you're interested in getting a bottle/case, you can order online directly through Lange Twins (click here) and if you're in a state that does not allow wine shipments, check with your local wine retailer and request it.  Specs of Houston will special order the wine with a nominal service charge.

Connecting Bridge and Wine:
Our Diablo Vineyard is located within the Delta levees in the Clarksbur Appellation. Each time we head out to our vineyard on Holland Tract, we cross the Sacramento River using the Paintersville Bridge.
